OKAY, I’ll start!
The best advice I received that help me enjoy planning my own wedding more so than I was at the time….was to STOP LISTENING to all the advice and take each suggestion with a grain of salt! It can easily overwhelm you, and attempts to make everyone happy will have your head spinning and leave you wishing you had eloped to Vegas faster than you can lose $100 at Black Jack!

Feast your eyes on this delicious image – I think my jaw dropped below the equator when I saw it! Don’t be fooled, it is not mini, but actually three tiers the approximate size of an average wedding cake. Add one to your dessert bar, or as a groom’s cake alternative. Yummy!

Get the impact of fine table linens without the cost October 26, 2009
There are great ways to have fabulous, sophistocated tables that make a great impact at your event, without the hefty price-tag of fine table linens come with!

One way to bring in a spash of your colors, is to use chair tiebacks accross the table like a table runner, or even pair them with a runner as shown in the next 2 photos below. They are much less expensive to rent, buy, and make on your own due to how much less fabric is utilized.
Much like the idea of using chair ties in a non-conventional way, you can get the same impact using colored napkins! See below how Katie and Jessie used red and black napkins (very inexpensive) to bring in their Las Vegas wedding colors on top of the white table linenes, which are usually standard and sometimes even included.
